Master Jason A. J. Mouna, began his training in Tae Kwon Do, in 1984 in Nairobi, Kenya. After 7 years he immigrated to Canada, married his high school sweetheart and pursued a career in finance and accounting, where he worked as a senior financial analyst for IBM, AutoDesk and Sun Microsystems, had three children, and later continued his training with Grandmaster Hwa Sun Myung. In 2002 he gave up his finance career to pursue his passion for tae kwon do and opened up Uxbridge Tae Kwon Do Academy (U.T.A) with the support of family. 

Here are some of U.T.A.'s achievements in the last five years:

- Began classes in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall - May 13th 2002 

- Moved to own custom built dojang December 2004

- 31 Students have earned their black belts 

- First 50yr old earned her black belt May 2006

- First 8yr old earned her black belt December 2006

- 8 Students have certified as Ontario Taekwondo Association Judges/Referees

- 3 Silver & 4 Bronze -2004 Junior Nationals, Dartmouth NS

- 7 Gold, 7 Silver and 7 Bronze - 2005 Junior Nationals & Canada Cup, Edmonton AB

- 12 Gold , 8 Silver and 8 Bronze - 2006 Junior Nationals & Kees Canada Cup Saskatoon SK

- 1 Gold and 1 Bronze - 2006 Senior National Team Trials, Mississauga ON

- 4 Gold, 7 Silver and 10 Bronze - 2007 Junior National & International  Saint John NB.
